The free App is now available for download on AppStore and Google Play Store for use with Apple iOS and Android devices. Users of the app can see player profiles, real-time game statistics, live score data and can set-up a goal notification service for all ice hockey games in Sochi.

"Following the amazing success of IIHF Apps that cover the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships we wanted to provide the same experience to ice hockey games in Olympics,” says Martin Zoellner, IIHF IT Director, who leads all IIHF Mobile App projects.

“This app is very special as it is the first IIHF App that is fully optimised for iPad and Android tablets.

As in all IIHF Apps, users can socialize by guessing game winners and check-in for each game.
