For Slovak forward Tomas Marcinko, who suffered a leg injury in his first game in Sochi against Team USA, the Olympics are already over.

Due to torn ligaments, Marcinko will not be able to play in the next few weeks. According to team doctor Vladimir Luptak, the HC Kosice player may well miss the remainder of the season.

The game against Team USA was Marcinko’s first big game. He has never played at Olympics or the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship with the senior national team before.
