Forward Marius Holtet of Färjestad Karlstad will not be able to play for Norway after suffering a concussion. He is replaced by Fredrik Lystad Jacobsen.

Lystad Jacobsen has been approved as Holtet’s replacement in the late athlete replacement process. For the 23-year-old forward it will be his debut with the men’s national team in an IIHF-sanctioned tournament.

The player of Norwegian club Storhamar Dragons has played exhibition games with the men’s national team and has represented Norway in three U20 and one U18 World Championship at Division I level.
