Swedish captain Henrik Zetterberg didn’t join his team in practice on Thursday and stayed at the Olympic Village to recover from back problems.
Team doctor Bjorn Waldeback addressed the media after practice and said Zetterberg has a herniated disc and that his situation will be re-evaluated day-to-day.
Zetterberg recently missed 11 NHL games due to back problems.
