Media in Sochi selected “Finnish Flash” Teemu Selanne as Most Valuable Player of the 2014 Olympic men’s ice hockey tournament.

Individual Awards, selected by the directorate of the tournament, went to Canada’s Carey Price as Best Goalkeeper, Sweden’s Erik Karlsson as Best Defenceman and the USA’s Phil Kessel as Best Forward.

Selanne, Karlsson and Kessel also made it to the All-Star Team selected by the media where Sweden’s Henrik Lundqvist was voted in goal. The selection is completed by Canada’s Drew Doughty and Finland’s Mikael Granlund.
